The Director of the Centre de Recherches Médicales de Lambaréné (CERMEL), Dr. AGNANDJI Selidji Todagbe, was awarded the title of "Ambassador of the University of Tübingen" for Central and West Africa.

Launch activities for the "FreeBILy" study
From February 11 to 15, 2019, a working session was held at the Lambaréné Medical Research Center to launch activities for the "FreeBILy" study, which includes Gabon, Madagascar, The Netherlands, and Germany.

HELMVIT D Study Launch
The meeting to launch the HelmVitD study was held at CERMEL from 7 to 9 January 2019. The study will assess the effect of maternal helminth infection on Vitamin D regulation and on the immune system of the infant.
