On 30 November 2021, a webinar was organized as part of the EDCTP2 funded project “Important data on Covid-19 profile in Africa” (AIDCO). The main objectives of the project are to determine the clinical outcome of Covid-19 infection at the participating African sites

COVID-19 Teddy Bear Hospital
The Teddy Bear Hospital was organised by the CERMEL and the BNITM, on Saturday 20 November 2021 for the celebration of the International Day of Children's Rights. The event was financed by the Hospital Partnerships programme (GIZ).

Workshop on medical entomology
The Centre de Recherches Médicales de Lambaréné (CERMEL) organised from 19 to 23 October 2021 in collaboration with the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM), a workshop on medical entomology as a prelude to the launch of a project which aims at monitoring vector-borne diseases in Sindara.
