The Lambaréné Medical Research Center (CERMEL), newly designated as Principal Recipient (PR) to manage the TB grant awarded by the Global Fund in Gabon for the 2016-2018 period, is recruiting an Administrative Assistant (ve ) whose responsibilities, profile, qualifications, remuneration and benefits as well as the conditions of recruitment are detailed as follows :

Location of the post

TB Project Management Unit (TB PMU), CERMEL, Libreville, Gabon.

Length of the position

September 01 to December 31, 2018.

Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant assists the Project Coordinator in performing routine administrative tasks and is expected to:

  • Ensure the reception, dispatch and classification of letters from the PMU;
  • Ensure the reception, dispatching and filing of PMU files;
  • Ensure the organization of different service meetings of the PMU;
  • Organize the protocol of the consultants invited by the PMU;
  • Perform office automation work (writing reports, correspondence and minutes of meetings);
  • Ensure the reception and the emission of telephone calls;
  • Perform the reception, processing and dissemination of information;
  • Follow up on the planning of meetings and the team's agenda;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the coordinator or any other project manager in the course of his work;
  • Manage the supply and inventory of office supplies and consumables of the PMU;
  • Supervise the maintenance staff and the security of the premises

He / she works under the direct responsibility of the Project Coordinator and collaborates with other members of the PMU.

Profile

An experience of at least two (2) years is required.
To be able to work under pressure; to supervise, support and accompany; have a good writing and synthesis ability.

Qualifications

Education :

  • BAC +2 diploma in secretarial work.

Required languages:

  • Mastery of French is required, and English is desirable.

Remuneration and other benefits

Remuneration and other benefits are negotiable on the basis of the applicant's experience and qualifications. Funding for this position is conditional on the contract between CERMEL and the Global Fund expiring on December 31, 2018.
