HookVac kick-off meeting
From 27-29 June 2014 CERMEL received Dr. Remko van Leeuwen of the Amsterdam Institut of Global Health and Development (AIGHD), Dr Daniel Diemert of the Sabin Vaccine Institute and Prof. Martin Grobusch of the Amsterdam Medical Centre for a site visit in the context of the upcoming HookVac trial.
Training sessions for staff were held and site infrastructure visited. The visitors assured themselves of the preparedness of the site for the trial. The team was confident that everything was in place for a study start in the coming weeks.
